The Rotary Club of San Mateo - Four Year College Scholarship Program

 

  • Students must attend San Mateo, Aragon, Hillsdale, Serra high school, or CSM and are planning to attend a four-year college to be eligible for this scholarship.
  • Criteria for this scholarship program are the following:  financial need, grade point and test scores, community and school activities, work experience, and acceptance at a four-year institution.  This scholarship is awarded for one year only.
  • Applications are available by the middle of January each year at the Counseling and Financial Aid offices at each school.  The school counselors can tell interested students more about the application process.
  • Applications are to be submitted to the Rotary Club of San Mateo via your school’s Counseling/Financial Aid office in the second week of March. San Mateo Rotary members will schedule home interviews with screened applicants during the third and fourth weeks of March and early April.  Interviews with the Rotary scholarship Panel will occur during the third week of April.
  • If you have questions about this Rotary scholarship program before being awarded a scholarship, please contact your school counselor/advisors.
  • If you have a question after being awarded a scholarship, please contact info@sanmateorotary.com and state your specific question for the scholarship program along with current contact information.
  • For the award to be granted to your school, we will need proof of enrollment from the school you are attending, which the PDF proof can be emailed to info@sanmateorotary.com.
