Remember the glow of the Annual Scholarship Luncheon last month? We raised and awarded thousands of dollars to college-bound students. Kudos to one & all!
As we approach a new Rotary year on July 1, we need to begin fund-raising for next year's scholarships!
Two of our primary fund-raising activities are coming up and we need your help, as sponsors, volunteers, and participants.
CLASSIC & CUSTOM CAR SHOW
First up will be the Classic & Custom Car Show at CSM on Saturday, September 2nd. Redwood City Fire Chief Ray is hoping you'll help! Perhaps you have a car to enter? Maybe you're a classic & custom
car aficionado? Possibly you'd just like to help out at the event? It's time to rev up your engines!

GREAT GOBLIN ESCAPE
Always a highlight of the year, the annual Fun Run draws runners & walkers from tots to seniors and everyone in between! This year's event, dubbed the Great Goblin Escape will be at J. Hart Clinton Park on Sunday morning, October 22nd.
Right now, Co-Chairs Bruce Bean & Peter Webb & the Fun Run Committee are focusing their efforts on recruiting sponsors for the Great Goblin Escape. Sponsorships are vital to raising the funds needed for awarding scholarships to college-bound students next spring. The more the merrier!
Might your company or employer be willing to help sponsor the race? Do you have friends whose companies or employers could help out with sponsorships? As an individual Rotarian, would you be willing to help sponsor? It's easy! Just go to this link to learn more:
