Rosemary Azem, Santa's Chief Elf, and the Holiday Party Planning Committee have organized a festive holiday luncheon on Thursday, December 16th, from 11:30 until 2:00 p.m. at Par Three at Poplar Creek. Guests are welcome and encouraged to join in the fun!  To sign up for the event, please e-mail Rosemary at shorestrvl@aol.com or sign up this Thursday at the Registration Desk.  Santa has already made his reservation and sends a hearty "Ho-Ho-Ho" your way.  He can't wait to join everyone for a spot of holiday cheer!

Thanks to the generosity of our San Mateo Rotarians, the Tree Club met its fund-raising target of $2,000 for planting trees in the North Shoreview Area.  A special shout-out to Peter Sortwell for providing the Tree Club with helpful tree-planting advice and support!  Stay tuned for the opportunity to help with tree planting during January & February.  A reminder this work is in support of the newest Rotary International Goal:  Protecting the Environment.
