San Mateo Rotarians gathered at Poplar Creek on December 15th, greeting the Holidays with great good cheer. Paul Rogerville provided the liquid cheer, generously donating wine for the occasion which livened up the pre-luncheon mingling. Liz Mayta orchestrated a spirited game of Jingle aka Bingo but with a holiday theme! Cheryl Angeles created hand-made whimsical Snowmen candy cane napkin holders, adding the perfect touch to the beautiful table decorations. Pete Wanger and Sound Judgement rocked the house with a medley of barbershop quartet offerings. Dave Bennett joined in the festivities as he celebrated his birthday with all of us. Santa and Frosty the Snowman even made cameo appearances. Thanks to everyone who helped make the event such a festive & jovial December gathering!

With appreciation to our Poplar Creek Wait Staff who take such great care of us. Chris Eckert passed the holiday stocking in their honor and Rotarians generously provided $1,128 to brighten the holidays!
Pete Wanger brought his barbershop quartet to serenade us during the luncheon portion of the festivities. Sound Judgement provided an eclectic array of holiday tunes and old-time favorites.
The gathering concluded with Rosemary interviewing Frosty the Snowman. Kudos to Rosemary for all her work on the party and to Chris Eckert for donning the Frosty costume. Still wondering how it stayed inflated?
