POTS OF GOLD?  IRISH COFFEE?  GREEN CUPCAKES?

The Rotary Club of San Mateo always loves a festive celebration! With our regular Thursday meeting falling on St. Patrick's Day, what could be better than seeing everyone appearing in green garb, sipping (or would that be guzzling?) Irish Coffee, and wishing for the proverbial pot of gold at the end of the rainbow?  A good time was had by all!
Rotarians were greeted by strains of Irish music as they arrived at Poplar Creek. Marilyn Coney had a vast repertoire of lilting Irish tunes!
President O'Rod (is that like A-Rod?) donned his Irish best and celebrated a Fighting Irish NCAA Tourney victory - on St. Patrick's Day!!!
Vic Carboni held forth at the Registration Table, accessorized by green shamrocks and a smile that would make the Irish proud!
Kristi O'Spence and Sue McLempert enjoyed the frivolity and frolic. Kristi led us in the Pledge!
Not exactly an Irish quartet, but definitely a spirited crew. Sheila, Kitty, Nancy & Margaret each had a different shade of green!
It's good we had two bottles of Jameson's at the Irish Coffee table!  Were Kitty and Bill the Designated Mixologists?
After a rugged day as Sgt-at-Arms - it's tough herding Rotarians - Chris found his just desserts! Cupcake? Irish Coffee? Both? Hmmm...
Bruce O'Bean (or was it McBean?) shared his Irish & Scottish roots & info on St. Patrick's Day, to the dismay of President O'Rod. Can't wait for Bruce's encore Newscast!
Walt's Leprechaun hat was the perfect way to celebrate. Not sure if he found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, but a cupcake definitely was in order!
